‘LITTLE THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO’ NO.8 – do some exercise. READ ON (no, not too strenuous, don’t worry!)

done.jpgIn this ‘day & age’, many people are ‘into’ exercise and healthy living. In your fitness and eating it’s important to have a balance, to maintain your body to its optimum. Exercise helps your brain to sort itself out properly and it’s good for your body to have some muscle! Even if you don’t feel like the ‘active sort’, try creating some exercises and a routine that you could do AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK. It can be for 15 minutes, and it will be better than nothing if you’re just starting to keep fitter, or don’t have much time. In your library or online there are lots of different types of exercises to tone a variety of areas in your body, so in your plan try to include a range. Raising your heart rate is exercise, but even controlled, slow movements, like yoga, increase muscle strength. Once you’ve got your plan, try and motivate yourself to implement it into a daily routine. If it helps, video yourself or write down how you felt after each session, and with time, you’ll be able to look back and see that it gets easier!
